Matt Cranston
Matt is a graduate of the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. Prior to law school, he attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Law and Public Policy.
Originally from Billings, Montana, Matt returned there after law school and joined the Brown Law Firm, where he developed a practice focused primarily on civil litigation. In 2025, Matt moved to Great Falls and joined Smith Oblander Meade & Mitcham, where he continues to focus on civil litigation while expanding his practice to include business planning and transactional matters.
Matt lives in Great Falls with his fiancé and, outside of the office, enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is a member of the Cascade County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Montana’s state and federal courts.
